Comodo CA is temporarily not including free base domains/SANs in single name and wildcard SSL certificates. This means these certificate types generated with or * will NOT receive as a FREE SAN. However, if you generate with, you will receive in the SAN field. Comodo CA is actively working on resolving this temporary system bug. The expected ETA is no later than Monday, July 24, 2017. Comodo has been discontinued SGC Wildcard SSL

Comodo SGC Wildcard SSL is no longer available now

Comodo has decided to discontinue SGC wildcard SSL Certificate which secures unlimited sub-domains on older browsers also. With the updated browsers and technically featured browsers, the SGC looks older, so, the vendor has decided to close to offer SGC Wildcard SSL Certificate.

However, we recommend following certificates instead of having SGC Wildcard:
