How long do I have to wait before they will issue my EV SSL certificate?
Typically it takes between 1-5 business days for an EV SSL certificate to be issued. Keep in mind, they're sorting through online databases and trying to verify specific details. And whereas DV issuance is automated, a human element is involved in the Extended Validation process. That takes time.
Is there anything I can do to speed up Extended Validation?
Yes. Here are a few tips to help speed up the process:
- Make sure your company's registration information is public and up to date.
- Make sure you everything is accurate when generating your CSR. Everything.
- Make sure your telephone number is publicly listed in a trusted directory.
- Make yourself available to answer any questions and furnish additional documentation.
